Open Badge for PhD - Digital Credentials for PhD Qualification
The University of Turin has joined the BESTR digital certification system based on Open Badges which institutionally validates the transversal skills (soft skills) acquired by students and in the last few days it has released the Open Badge of the qualification obtained by the PhD Candidates of the follwing PhD Programs:
Technology Driven Sciences: Technologies for Cultural Heritage (Tech4Culture) – 34° and 35° cycle
Economics «Vilfredo Pareto» - from 27° to 33° cycle
Business and Management - from 27° to 35° cycle
The Open Badge is a tool that collects all the information useful for recognizing the skills of the person who owns it and it is a personal, secure certification system that can be easily spent on social channels and verifiable in real time by the platforms that manage the standards.
The badge can be consulted and recognized by organizations or companies and can receive the endorsement of all entities that recognize its value, promoting connections between companies, trainers and PhD researchers.
