Complementary Training

In compliance with the “Principles for Innovative Doctoral Training” promoted by the EU, courses and seminars are organized by the Doctoral School to provide all Ph.D. candidates complementary research skills. Classes are taught by both faculty from the University of Turin and invited guests.

Transversal and transferable skills, add to the researchers’ curricula thus allowing them to also develop other academic and non-academic competences, while increasing and diversifying post-doc career opportunities.

The complementary training concerns different fields, such as:

  • Communication, dissemination and public engagement
  • Professional conduct and research ethics
  • Fundraising and research management
  • Career planning and advancement

Please see the section Prossimi corsi at the italian website and check also the "ISPAS - Path to successful innovation" and the "E-learning" sections below to find available training opportunities.
